Champions Putting Girls and Women First

Throughout October, singer-songwriter, actress and Population Services International (PSI) Global Ambassador Mandy Moore has been curating One.org’s Girls and Women blog with an eye toward an issue that matters deeply to her: Why investing in women and girls makes economic sense.

Mandy has featured articles that focus on empowering women and girls for health and economic impact. She’s seen the returns from giving women the tools to contribute economically to their families and communities, firsthand. Don’t miss her photos and stories from recent trips, as well as the pieces she selected that make the case for investment.

As a One.org blog curator, Mandy joins a group of strong female leaders who have contributed to the blog in the past. Previous curators include former First Lady Laura Bush, actress and model Amber Valletta, musician Angélique Kidjo and many others. They’ve focused on everything from responsible fashion choices to girls’ education and gender equality. Find previous curator’s pages, as well as Mandy’s, below.
